Who is Dove
Tale?
We’re a group
of writers drawn to each other because we share a passion for writing.
Every two weeks we gather to share our works-in-progress. We rewrite,
edit, polish – until finally we are ready to put what we’ve
created “out there” for the greater world to see.
Why are we
called Dove Tale?
We chose our
name as a play on words. We tell tales. Our diverse writing styles and
topics dovetail in our anthologies and publications. We fit together,
but still maintain our independence as writers, following our personal
dreams and stories. Our inspiration was a piece of art by Netty Meyer,
showing a dove atop a tree and a man pondering beneath its branches.
It suits us perfectly – as we ponder life through our writing.
